Subject:UCLA 8-0
Security:Public
Mood: shocked

Well, the day started off simple enough. I met up with some friends a Microsoft to carpool to the game around 11am in the morning. Stopping by the store for a brief beer/food run for the tailgate festivities we arrived at Stanford around noon.

Upon arrival two things amazed me right off the bat.
1. It was almost 4 hours until game time and the tailgate area was packed
2. The tail gate area was packed with UCLA fans -- there was one stanford section in the corner that at one point grew to about 15 people at it.

We found our reserved area and started drinking and eating. Then it was time to head to the game. We entered the stadium and when to where my seats were but then decided to move to the UCLA student section -- (not sure why we purchased the $30 reserved seating since I could have sat anywhere I wanted and did.)

I realized right off that we were in the right place not only from the blue and yellow but also from the distinctive 4 or 5 seats reserved by some partying student by leaving a pile of puke across them instead of a shirt.

The game started off simple enough Stanford scored -- nobody in the UCLA side even showed a little bit of worry more so jokes about letting them get a touch down or two before we decide to crush them. We then answered with a field goal to make it 7-3 at which point I was fairly confident this was the start of a UCLA rally. Going into half time nobody was worried this seems to just be how UCLA wins this year.

Third quarter Stanford scores again 14-3 now people are starting to get nervous.

Forth quarter starts off with a Stanford field 17-3 the UCLA student section still not overly worried just starts reassuring each other that 2 touchdowns does not take long at all. When very costly turnover quickly seemed to put the game out of reach following a Stanford touch down to make it 24-3. I remind you this is all in the fourth quarter. The student section in disbelief try some jinx breaking maneuvers by doing the old tried and true shirt swap (which I won't lie distracted me from the game at this point since I was able to see a lot of young impressionable college girls strip off their shirts to give to someone.) Then it starts after a failed drive by Stanford we score with 7 minutes left 24-10 -- no onside kick we shut the Stanford offense down and quickly score again 24-17. Now the crowd is going crazy that only took 2 minutes so now with almost 5 minutes left we shut them down again. Stanford now just self destructs if -- I think it was 3 pass interference penalties in a row. We easily drive down the field to score with 40 seconds to spare in order to tie the game 24-24 in what I believe is the best come back I have ever seen live or on TV.

Overtime -- I don't think I need to even say it but Stanford field goal -- UCLA second play 23 yard touchdown pass a thing of beauty that sent me into tears at this point. Also all of the girls shirts came off again :) to celebrate.

What a game -- I am still not able to think about anything but that game -- not sure how productive I will be today.

Subject:Tag -- I'm it -- no really I mean I am it
Security:Public
Mood: dirty

Directions: List 10 celebrities that you find attractive and then tag 5 of your friends.

Well here is my list to bad I can only think of one hot person so I am doing this a little different and listing 10 attributes about this person.

1. John's rock hard abs (unfortunately buried under a couple inches of fat but only to protect the innocent from be overwhelmed)
2. John's kick butt rock crawling truck that has not moved more than 10 feet in the last 3 weeks and that was when it was being pushed by my roommate and myself to a better parking spot.
3. My come hither stare that nobody can resist (well ok maybe it is resistible but my friends dog Cody loves it)
4. The way that talking about myself in the third person freaked me out by line #3 of this list.
5. My ability to consume mass quantities of any type of alcohol like it is water.
6. My amazing eye for good films like Night of the Living Dead, The Re-Animator, Bad Taste and Dead Alive
7. My chest hair -- after all who needs a sweater
8. The way I can take the simplest of tasks like listing 10 people I think are hot and make it creepy.
9. My lack of live journal use.
10. My live journal postings I do make that make little or no sense.

Honorable Mention: The girl on the pocky packages(the way she loves those chocolate covered sticks makes me want to give her my chocolate covered nuts -- of course I mean my peanut M&M's)

Tag, you're it:
I would tag 5 friends but I don't really have that many and after this post I may not have any.

Subject:Voting reform

Mood: tired

I have some proposals for voting reform.

First of all everything computerized is that really that hard now days give me a break. It is not like we are asking everyone to become computer literate. Just click on the button of who you want to win.

Secondly -- This one is a crazy idea that I fully believe would make voting a lot better. In order for your vote to be counted you must first pass a simple quiz on what the issues are and basic understanding of foreign policies and american policies alike. Before you vote I think it is important to understand what you are voting for.

Lastly -- No more electoral votes. Just go by popular vote. After all if we have the quiz mentioned in step 2 the popular vote should only be comprised of intelligent people and because step 1 we can easily count the votes down to the very last one.

Subject:In Rome and still drunk from last night

Mood: drunk

Not sure what makes it harder to type -- 3 bottles of 1,30 euro a bottle wine I had or the european key boards. Oh well, just doing laundry and got 15 free minutes and only have 5 left now. Almost time to get breakfast and go see the city a little more on my last day in Rome.

Trip has been great -- Jay and I met up with a couple crazy people here that love to drink also. Mainly one guy who is cool but just does not stop talking once he gets started. Good times. Never in my life have I felt like I have been missing out on so much for the last 28 years of my life.

Subject:Hangtown -- my home
Security:Public

Well,
I was back at home that weekend and thinking about my memories of growing up and moving later on to UCLA, New Mexico, and San Jose. One common difference between my home town I never see in other locations. Maybe this will give my friends some insight into why I sometimes sound so twisted or violent. But picture this 18 years of your life you spend going to the main downtown area and you see this.

This is what all of my childhood consisted of. To me it is quite normal to walk downtown and see a dummy hanging from a tree. After all I grew up in a town that is known for hanging people. Part of my proud culture and heritage involves lenchings and legal proceedings ending in a good old fashion hanging.

Also I noticed this not far from my house -- tell me if you think it reminds you of a movie. I can't stop thinking about a half decayed girl popping out of it.

Hey now -- 10 years since high school WOW -- guess I have not matured much.

Anyways time for El Dorado High School class of 94 reunion. Wow, this weekend I am going to Placerville to check out all of my old friends. Crazy thing is RSVP list I think I am the only one going that is not bringing 5 or 6 kids.

Is this because I escaped the backwoods marry procreate by age 16 thing or is it just I have not seen the light. Nobody I know from UCLA or my later years that is my age has kids. But lately it seems like everyone has kids now.

I am looking forward to showing up and drinking like always. Hanging with my friends -- just not used to having to watch what I do or say in a family event type of way but I won't let that slow me up much.

Subject:MS sucks -- It is almost Midnight -- and did I mention MS sucks.
Security:Public

Once again everything gets messed up at MS because of shitty communication. You would think that people who have 8 hours of meetings a day like most of our managers could spend at least 5 min of that talking to the people who actually do the work. But nope after countless times of me asking why I should be doing someone else's job they had me do it anyways. Although forgot to tell me that they changed the whole process. So I have been here for 14 hours today and spent 8 hours Sunday and done about zero work of my own and 100% of about 6 other people who apparently didn't feel like doing it. Still nothing is working. Hopefully I will be out of here soon.

Subject:Drunken super
Security:Public

Haha -- I am still drunk and you don't know how long I took me to write this one sentance.... Lucky enough for me one of my co-workers had sense enough to drive me home (thanks Simon)...

Anyways me and my friend Simon were hanging with 3 chics --- good for us. The bad thing being I made some critical flaws. Three to be exact. Just putting them her for comments and critisizim... Uh -- can't spell well normally but especially now in my drunken stuper.

1st -- Mentioning I am PWT -- those words exactly poor white trash --- offended one girl because she of all things thought I was being disrespectfull to myself. I reasured her that I was not offended by it and only intended it to be respectfull of the fact that I am PWT and no longer Poor or Trash but still brought up as such.

2nd--- I was also opening my mouth to a discusion about politics with regards to US vs. Iran -- Afganistan ect.. It was brought up how disgusting it is the US took pictures and treated prisoners of war as such. Which I replied as simply saying how I did not see how that should reflect badly on Amercans as a whole mainly when americans are not taking things such as the 9/11 attack or beheadings of inoccent citzens so personaly. Mistake #2 politics especially US driven politics,,, OUCH!!!

3rd---- lst mistake guys make up your mind --- I went after one girl then another and back and forth --- very bad --- major no no -- show interest in one or the other. Never two at the same time -- exspecially two friends.

Good things done by me--- pointing out the fact that number 1 and 2 problems may be wrong.... secondly recognizing #3 and deciding to focus onone girl for the rest of the night...lastly giving said girl my number just in case 1,2, and 3 did not offend. After all no one ever wins by sitting by and not openning their mouth -- even if what comes out of it is stupid...
